Hundreds of North Carolina’s pest management professionals gathered for the North Carolina Pest Management Association’s (NCPMA) 2016 Pest Control Technicians’ (PCT) School at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham. The event is one of the largest of its kind in the United States.
“The PCT School is one of the biggest and best traditions for our state’s pest management industry, and it’s something that we look forward to every year. For 66 years, we have come together to share knowledge, training and fellowship with our industry peers,” said Lee Smith, NCPMA president.
The 2016 PCT School is being held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel and Convention Center in Durham. It begins today and continues through Jan. 28.
The conference includes sessions and classes about the latest in pest management techniques. In addition, the NCPMA offers training and renewal classes for its Wood-Destroying Insects Report (WDIR) Accreditation program, awards the annual Technician of the Year Awards and inducts new members to its Hall of Fame.
