Premier Technician Courses -- November 2024 (Wood Destroying Beetles)

Premier Technician Courses will be held Nov. 13-14, 2024 in Raleigh at the NCSU Training Facility (4000 Chi Road; Raleigh, NC 27603).
Classes start at 8am. Lunch is provided. If you’re returning (have already taken PT classes in the past), please bring your binders and field bags.

Cockroaches (earn 7 CCU credits)
Speaker: Tommy Powell
In this course participants will learn the historical significance of cockroaches, what is fact and what is fiction as well as the biology & behavior for several of the common species of cockroaches as well as inspection and treatment methods.

Wood Destroying Beetles (earn 7 CCU credits)
Speaker: Marie Horner, Arrow Exterminators
Wood-Destroying Beetles: This course will focus proper inspections, signs and identification, prevention and treatment of the following wood-boring beetles: Powderpost, Old House Borer, Common Furniture Beetle and the Emerald Ash Borer.
